Teresa Lanceta received a BA in History and a PhD in Art History, and has lived in Barcelona, Alicante, Madrid, Seville, and Marrakech. Her work is currently on view in the solo exhibitions Teresa Lanceta: 'El sueño de la cólcedra,' at Patio Herreriano, Valladolid, Spain, through June 9, and Meadows/ARCO Artist Spotlight at The Meadows Museum, Dallas, TX, through June 24. Notable recent solo exhibitions include Teresa Lanceta: 'La mémoire tissée' at Musée d’art moderne de Céret, France (2024) and the major comprehensive survey Teresa Lanceta: 'Weaving as Open Source' at Musée d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Spain (2022). She is currently included in Anozero24, the fifth edition of Bienal de Coimbra, Spain, through June 30, and in the group exhibition 'Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern Abstraction' at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC (first presented at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA; traveling to the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa, and The Museum of Modern Art, New York). Lanceta lives and works in Alicante, Spain.
